MUCOBOVIN

Bovine viral diarrhea constitutes an infringement which impedes the development of the dairy industry in Morocco. The high incidence of the disease and the difficulty of diagnosis are a major risk that we must manage.
Against BVD, the first step is the serology. firstaval, antibody serology (on a non-vaccinated flock), revealed the virus circulation among livestock. Animals seronegative (6 months and more) in a farm must be tested positive on serology antigen to detect the IPI (immunotolerants infected permanent).
These are like viruses bombs, they must be slaughtered. This must be accompanied by all biosecurity measures to prevent further introductions of the virus (quarantine, risk linked to bull, contact with other species including sheep).
The introduction of vaccination allows you to fight against the emergence of IPI, to avoid early embryonic mortality, abortions and diarrhea, and to limit the effect of immunosuppressive BVDV. The MUCOBOVIN is an inactivated vaccine (with an oily excipient) against the BVD based on two strains: New York and Aveyronite, thus expand its spectrum of protection.
The MUCOBOVIN can be used on animals regardless of their physiological stage, and if the flock is infected or not. The vaccination program has two vaccinations to 4 week intervals, from 2 weeks for calves from mothers vaccinated and 6 months for calves from mothers not vaccinated. The protocol will be adapted for the purpose (clinical prevention, prevention transmissions horizontal ...)
