F.A.Q.
1- What is the best way to administrate AVINEW?
2- Can we protect effectively laying hens against mycoplasma with a single vaccination?
3- how de we have to use FRONTLINE spray?
4- What is TRIVACTON 6?
5- What’s new in dog vaccination?
1- What is the best way to administrate AVINEW?
The AVINEW contains strain VGGA which is a strain dual tropism, respiratory and digestive. This explains the lack of significant differences observed when comparing the two methods of administration.
Accordingly, the vaccine allows great flexibility, folding the constraints of age, the availability of drinking water…
2- Can we protect effectively laying hens against mycoplasma with a single vaccination?
Yes, one application of TS11 strain is sufficient to protect hens’ flocks. The action of TS11 is based on competition between the vaccine and wild strains of mycoplasma.
The protection is assured as long as the vaccine persists in the body of vaccinated birds.
Also, isolates carried out on laying hens vaccinated by the TS11 demonstrated the persistence of TS11 strain beyond 60 weeks, thus covering layers throughout their lives.
3- how de we have to use FRONTLINE spray?
First, we start by spraying the animal hair in reverse order to anchor in a consistent way; we mustn’t forget to spray the abdomen, chest, neck, members… Then, rub the animal to promote penetration of the product until the skin (especially in cats).
Avoid spraying in the eyes of the animal. To treat the head, wear a glove and put the product in the palm of your hand, then gently rub the face.
For a better efficacy of the product, you should not bath the animal 48 hours before applying the product.
The FRONTLINE resists to bath, to light and shampoos.
4- What is TRIVACTON 6?
The TRIVACTON6 is a vaccine against the neonatal diarrhoea in newborn calves. The first vaccination includes two applications, the first 1-2 months before putting down, then the second 1 week before putting down.
The booster is annual. If the cows don’t produce a calf per year; you have to resume the protocol of primary vaccination.
5- What’s new in dog vaccination?
The new vaccination program is based on PRIMODOG and EURICAN.
The first is a highly titled monovalent vaccine against canine parvovirus, its title gives him the possibility to overcome the maternal antibodies, and protect the puppy against the desease.
EURICAN is a vaccine for which protection for all these valences has been proved by challenge; this gives assurance to have optimum protection with a maximum safety.
